Metro required a solution which would enable them to meet e-Government initiatives as well as promote the use of public transport within the West Yorkshire area, as part of government initiatives for increasing the use of public transport.

The ability to keep the website up to date with meaningful and useful information and the provision of a personalised service to customers, whilst also capturing customer information, was imperative to Metro.
